Which airline flies from Grand Cayman to the Sister Islands?

Cayman Airways, the Cayman Islands own airline. It flies five regular services between the other Cayman islands (Little Cayman and Cayman Brac) each day, as well as flights to the US and other Caribbean destinations.

Owen Roberts International Airport has all the facilities you’d expect from a busy tourist connection; money exchange office and automatic machine, restaurants, cafeterias and bars, gift and duty free shops, Chemist Shop/Drug Store, Help Desk, and Post Office for those last minute cards to people you forgot.

All the things you need to while away the last hour of your Grand Cayman vacation and use up the change in your pocket the bank back home won’t exchange.

And it’s a small airport so you won’t have a problem getting lost. Quite the opposite, if you’re flying out at a busy time, you’re biggest problem will be finding a seat.

The Taxi Rank and Car rentals at Grand Cayman airport are right outside the terminal, less than a 100 yards(meters) away, in the glorious sun and warm breezes. After a long northern winter, even something as mundane as picking up a car feels like heaven.

Cruise Ship Terminal

A large number of the visitors traveling to Grand Cayman, about 200,000 a year, arrive by cruise ship. Many Caribbean cruises make stops at George Town, usually for a few hours or at most a day, and  lots of those visitors stop off at the waterfront bars — principally Margaritaville and Hard Rock Cafe — or the Duty Free Shopping on the waterfront.

The terminal is perfectly placed for George Town‘s shopping district and also Seven Mile Beach, the biggest and most popular on the island.

For the more adventurous, however, tour buses line up at the dock for trips to Hell, the Turtle Farm , and Seven Mile Beach.

You can also fly into Grand Cayman airport and meet your ship at George Town after holidaying a day or two on the island.
