Driving in Grand Cayman, even on the left if you're not used to it, is pretty relaxed, by which I mean the people take it easy and take tourists mistakes in their stride. And, away from George Town, the roads are practically empty anyhow except for a brief rush hour and the beginning and end of the working day.

A is for... Andy's Car Rent-A-Car located at the airport on a stand-alone site and has the added advantage of being the first one you see when you exit the terminal, not something you should discount after a tiring and/or early flight. They will also pick up and drop you off from anywhere on Seven Mile Beach. Call: 345-949-8111 and... Avis (Cico Avis), who have a number of locations including the airport, in a strip plaza, called the Airport Center, that seems to be devoted to car rental offices; all the major companies are there. The Airport Centre is a short walk immediately left as you exit the terminal. Avis can also be found at Courtyard Marriott, Hyatt, Marriott Beach Resort, Ritz Carlton, and Westin Casuarina.
