Morritts Resort on Grand Cayman has something for everybody.
The Entrance to Morritts Resort

Morritts Grand and Tortuga Club is in the quieter East End of the island and none the worse for that. Being away from the busy end of the island means you can choose your days to suit your mood. Lie by the pools or ocean side on relaxing days or make the short trip to the West End on days or nights when you want something more.
Not that you can't have more at Morritts. They provide nightly entertainment, a top-class restaurant in Ivan's and a Red Sails dive and watersports place right on the beach.
There are three pools, one with a swim-up bar for the party crowd, one that's family-oriented, and one, the Park Pool, for the folks who came to relax and soak up some rays. The Park Pool is also where they teach diving and provide Aqua-fit classes for guests who feel they are having too good a time! Each block of suites has its own BBQ's for use by guests. They're popular so take advantage when you see one free any time past noon.
The beach is fine white sand and the water warm and shallow. Snorkeling out to the reef is safe, and as simple as walking, while the Cayman Wall dive point is just over the reef for more serious underwater visitors. The Red Sails folks rent sea-doos, windsurfers, and boats right on the site. They also make reservations for off-site trips, like Sandbar and
Stingray City.
Another advantage of the East End is you're near a string of beautiful and empty beaches. Seven mile beach in the West End is a fantastic beach and has all the things that go with that. However, it also has 90% of the
resorts
and that means 90% of the people. For the perfect 'survivor' day (or week!), the
East End beaches
have the market to themselves. Our East End beaches page gives you some idea of how much space you'll have to yourself if you want it.
