Resorts in Grand Cayman is a page for you to choose the resort that will become your vacation dream spot.
Most resorts, and certainly the bigger ones, are centered around Seven Mile Beach, which makes this the busiest place on the island or, if you prefer, the most lively spot on the island.
This is the place for restaurants, bars and nightlife.
If you prefer a quieter vacation, look for a resort in the East End or the central areas of Grand Cayman.
Ritz-Carlton Resort is one of the largest on Seven-Mile Beach and it’s certainly one of the most upmarket.
The photo below is the main entrance off West Bay Road, the road that runs behind Seven Mile Beach.
The Reef resort, below, is in the East End of the island, right next to Morritts. They’re both great places to stay on the quieter side of life.
Spanish Bay Reef Resort is an all-inclusive resort in West Bay along the coast from Boatswain’s Bay and very near the Barkers National Park. The beaches are mainly ironshore which is great for divers and snorkelers. Sunshine Suites Resort is another Grand Cayman resort on Seven Mile Beach (the beach is the center of the Grand Cayman universe)…
Westin Casuarina Resort occupies 8 acres of Seven Mile Beach and has the water sports that go with that. Like the Marriott, this is a big luxurious resort with fine dining (one of their restaurants, Casa Havana, is the only AAA four diamond restaurant on Grand Cayman), a spa, golf, and a private beach and pools. Call them at: 345.945.3800 for details.
Most rooms at a resort include a kitchen so check out our grocery shopping page to help keep down the food bill of your stay — though if you’re staying at the Ritz or Westin that probably isn’t an issue:-).
